Steamin’ Hot Stew and Chili Cook-off- Continuing the tradition of a cook-off in the month of October, the Chattooga County affiliate of “There’s Hope for the Hungry” has stepped forward to organize this event. Local cooks are invited to enter for bragging rights, prizes, and to sell their favorite recipe of stew and chili. Only those cooks entering the contest may sell other food and drink items. Proceeds from samples and entry fees will support the local food ministry, “There’s Hope for the Hungry.” Art, craft and merchandise vendors may also register. |
