Steam into Summerville Railroad Days Take a scenic autumn drive to one of Georgia’s “Better Hometown” communities to view the arrival of a historic steam engine from the Tennessee Valley Railroad. Then view the turning of the steam engine on the restored Summerville Railroad Turntable. Weekends in October & early November are filled with weekly festivals and events as well as the downtown antique shops, gift shops, and restaurants.
